Mitzi Perdue

Mitzi Perdue is a member of the Sheraton Hotel Chain Family and the widow of poultry magnate, Frank Perdue. She is also a businesswoman in her own right. She started the family wine grape business, now one of the larger suppliers of wine grapes in California. Mitzi likes nothing better than to share insider tips for successful family businesses. Her family of origin (the one that started the Sheraton Hotels) began with the family business, Henderson Estate Company, in 1840, and her Perdue family started in 1920 in the poultry business. These two families have a combined tradition of 276 years of staying together as a family. Mitzi is happy to share actionable advice on how they created and maintained their family businesses.

Ty Murphy

Ty Murphy is a Due Diligence art and NFT advisor to UHNWI private clients and Family Offices. He is a former investigator and counter-surveillance specialist and worked at a very senior level.

He put his vast investigative experience to good use with to provide a unique due diligence art and NFT advisory services. He investigates all aspects of an Art/NFT transaction or a collection. This involves checking in minute detail for issues of misattribution, fakes, authentication, provenance research, expert’s opinion, conservators, forensic examinations, legal compliance, appraisals, copyright issues and KYC and AML.

Ty also advised his clients on portfolio diversification into NFT (non-fungible tokens) and other crypto products. His NFT due diligence approach is unique, and his clients learn about the pros and cons of NFT investing from an individual with a security mindset.

Ty is a due diligence art advisor to the “Online Picasso Project”, the most comprehensive and respected catalogue raisonné on Picasso’s works. He is also a strategic advisor to the “Modigliani Institute” and is the UK Chair of the “Global Fine Art Awards”. He is also the Publisher of Family Office Magazine and Art & Museum Magazine.

Dame Sheila Barry Driscoll

Dame Sheila is the Founder of the Sheila B. Driscoll Foundation and CEO of Driscoll Ventures. A native of the Monterey Peninsula, Sheila pursued her academic studies at the Monterey Institute of International Studies where she received a B.A. in Hispanic  Studies in 1980 and her M.A. in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in 1986. While studying at MIIS, she received a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship to do post-graduate work in Deaf Education in La Plata, Argentina and further research in Deaf Studies in Madrid, Spain.

In 2013 she became the President and Co-Founder of the Billionaire Foundation where she helped coordinate foundation research work and initiated new introductions between existing foundations and the research team. She is a sought-after keynote speaker for Global Family Office Wealth and Investment Summits on topics that address Social Impact Investing and Philanthropy as well as a guest lecturer at Ivy League Universities where she shares her expertise in the world of business, film and innovation.

She is the great granddaughter of Jeremiah Driscoll, Patriarch of Driscoll’s, who began producing fresh strawberries in California’s Pájaro Valley in 1870. 150 years later, Driscoll’s is still leading the produce of fresh berries in the United States and around the globe. When she is not steeped in her global philanthropic or corporate work, Sheila enjoys her role as President of The Wild Irish Rose Productions, LLC whereby she consults and advises for numerous Film and TV Show projects in Hollywood and abroad.

Julie Gauthier

Roberto Alcalde

Mr. Roberto Alcalde is an UHNWI and is one of the largest private art collectors in the World. He is the founder of the “Control SAM” Family Office in Monaco. He has created Europe’s first art resort, Es the only Fine Art Resorts in Europe where the art is on display to guests.

Background. Mr Alcalde was born in 1940 in Madrid, Spain. He worked for a major American oil company for 11 years, working at high level positions in the US, Venezuela, and Spain. In 1973, he was hired by the Spanish government to privatize many of the heavy industry assets of the state including, among others, Repsol. In 1975, he launched his first company, dedicated to project finance. In 1976, he joined a private equity group and helped to create or buy more than 40 companies. In 1982, he organized four leveraged buyouts from his former employer, one of this became a multinational technological company with operations in sixteen countries and with over 8000 employees. Mr. Alcalde was named president of this company in 1985, listing the company in the Madrid Stock Exchange in 198, in 1992, he sold his controlling interest. Mr. Alcalde has also been a successful early investor in many companies including voice recognition and internet technologies during the early years of the Silicon Valley raise. In 1990, he took a controlling interest in a new retail chain which grew to 150 shops in 5 European countries. This was sold in 2006 and he retired from the corporate world. He is still very active with the Control SAM family office while continually building his art collection and plays an active part in the Art resort.

Edward Burillo

Edward Burillo is the co-founder of TV Cable & Cable Net, which was Mexico’s third largest MSO in the country. At the company, he served as a Board Member, Executive Vice President, and Chief Development Officer. Burillo also founded and divested out of Lifetel, the master franchise of Telefonica Movistar, the fourth highest telephone and mobile network provider nationwide. In addition, Burillo expanded his retail and consumer goods business to include beverages, fashion and luxury goods including art.

Previously, Burillo created a joint venture between the secretary of the EPA in Mexico and California’s former government for Electronics Recyclers International.

Most recently, Burillo serves as the CEO of Acrecion, a single family office and asset management firm for the Burillo family, where he founded and serves as CEO of its investment arm, Accretion Capital.

Burillo is a patron of the arts, education, and community service. He is a member of the board of the ICA Museum in Miami. As for charity and non-profit work, Burillo funds non-profit organizations.

Rosa Sangiorgio

Rosa is leading the Environmental Social and Governance effort for Pictet Wealth Management. She has over 22 years experience in structuring, managing and distributing traditional and responsible investment solutions for institutional and private investors globally.

Prior to joining Pictet in 2020, she worked for several major European financial institutions. Since 2012, she is focusing on Sustainability and Impact Investing, most recently leading the Sustainability and Impact Investing effort for Credit Suisse Investment Management. Rosa is a CEFA charter holder and a TEDx speaker.

Katerina Mileeva

William Atha

William Atha joined Morgan Stanley as a Senior Vice President, Family Wealth Director and Wealth Advisor in 2012. He is a Portfolio Manager. Florian leverages his extensive background on start-ups, fundraising, and transactions in healthcare and life science to invest in, build, and (re-)position organisations in the competitive global marketplace.

In particular, his passion is around impact investment and effective personal development methodologies to create high-performance teams, whereby many members have become successful executives and entrepreneurs themselves. Gregg Robins

Gregg Robins founded Robins Advising to advise clients on how to deal with the most complex problems and situations that they face in the management of their personal wealth and their business interests. Through Robins Advising, he brings his experience and network to find the best solutions to a range of client issues, employing an objective, thoughtful approach in each situation. He helps clients, in particular, with their business holdings, including assessing and assisting early stage ventures from the investor’s and founder’s points of view.

Gregg’s career in financial services has included leadership roles in banks, including Citigroup, UBP and UBS, where he was the head of Wealth Management in Russia. In addition, he has taught and lectured in leading business schools, including the Executive MBA Programs of the NYU Stern School of Business, the New Economic School in Moscow, and recently in the Banking and Finance Academy in Uzbekistan. He is especially proud to have been named “Teacher of the Year” by the Executive MBA students at NYU Stern in 2006.  Gregg has been a frequent speaker at industry events and featured in media interviews, as well writing over the years on a variety of professional and personal topics, for magazines, journals, and newspapers.  

He received his B.A. in Economics at Rice University. From there, he was fortunate to be awarded a Marshall Scholarship, and he received his Masters and Doctoral Degrees from Oxford University, specialising in Finance with a geographical focus on Russia and Eastern Europe.  Gregg remains proud of his Bronx upbringing, as well as his adult life abroad as a longtime resident of Switzerland, with years lived in the United Kingdom and Russia. He is sensitive to different cultures and is enriched by being fluent in Russian, Spanish, and French, in addition to his native English and some German.

Fleur Heyns

Fleur Heyns is Dutch and started her career at J.P Morgan in London after graduating from Oxford University with an MSc in Biochemistry.  In 2000 she left investment banking to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities. In 2000 she co-founded and was the CEO of Global Trader, “Africa’s RobinHood” trading platform with over 1million active users. Global Trader’s successful exit in 2007 allowed her to pivot to what is now known as impact investing.

Fleur provided seed capital for many impact funds and initiatives including Emerge Education (Europe’s leading Edtech fund and acceleration), Osmosis Investments (world leading resource efficiency fund and global environmental fund of the year 2021), Enclude Capital (mini impact investment boutique), 17Africa (permanent investment vehicle to fund energy transition in Africa). Currently she is most active as the CEO and co-founder of Proof of Impact, a digital technology platform to collect, verify and analyse impact and ESG data to make impact investing effective, transparent and profitable.

Andrei Movchan

Expert of the Carnegie Foundation Economic program.

Winner of many awards and honors, in particular, «Best asset manager» according to Russian Forbes, «Best CEO of the asset management company» according to RBC, «Legend of the industry» according to SPEAR’s, «Manager of the year» according to RBC, etc. Author of the book «Russia in the era of post-truth», many articles and lectures on Economics and Finance.

Pavel Cherkashin

Pavel Cherkashin is a venture capital executive, entrepreneur, and writer with a successful track record of building billion-dollar companies as a founder, investor and board member.

Pavel Cherkashin is a co-founder and managing partner at Mindrock. Before founding the late-stage investment company Mindrock Capital, Pavel managed two early-stage venture funds. In total, he is overseeing over $1B in assets under management. 

As a founder and partner at Mindrock Capital Pavel is leading the fund’s effort to help outstanding entrepreneurs build profitable, lasting and category-defining IT companies. Igor Yelnik

Igor Yelnik founded Alphidence Capital Ltd in 2020 and holds the positions of CEO and CIO. Previously Igor was the CIO for ADG Capital Management LLP from 2013 to 2019. Prior to that he spent 9 years at IPM Informed Portfolio Management AB where he was a Partner and Head of Portfolio Management and Research. Before this, Igor co-founded St. Petersburg Capital, an asset management firm that specialised in the Russian securities market, and later Unibase Invest, a managed futures business based in Tel Aviv. Igor graduated from Leningrad Polytechnic Institute in 1986 where he obtained a Master’s degree in Computer Science (Diploma with Distinction)

Simon Hopkins

Mr. Hopkins has been a senior investment professional for more than two decades, with a track record in building successful financial services businesses. He is the founder and CEO of Milltrust, a family-owned investment platform, overseeing investments across 32 developing public equity markets through an award-winning fund range, as well substantial institutional allocations to farmland investments in Australia and New Zealand, and science and technology investments through the British Innovation Fund. Milltrust’s latest initiative, in collaboration with the WWF-Hong Kong, is the Climate Impact Asia Fund, an active equity impact fund investing into the leading Asian-listed companies that make a positive impact against climate change.

Mr Hopkins has been a prolific capital raiser for single manager funds, funds of funds and listed closed-end funds. In 1997, he founded Fortune Group, a multi asset class advisory firm raising over 10bn USD of assets under managenent. The firm was sold to publicly-listed Close Bros Group plc. in 2006.

Mr. Hopkins started his career at S.G. Warburg, and held senior roles at UBS, HSBC and Nomura. He serves as a director of Swallowcourt, a UK care provider, Xoomtrip, a Gulf-based travel agent, and Roslin Technologies (University of Edinburgh), and is a member of NUS Medicine International Council. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Bristol in 1986 and recently completed a Non-Executive Director postgraduate diploma in Hong Kong. Mr. Hopkins resides with his family in Singapore.

Andrei Ivanov

Andrei Ivanov is the founding partner and the head of investment management of LEON Family Office.

Andrei has over 20 years of experience in wealth management. Prior to joining LEON, he run the asset management business in BCS Financial Group and worked as CIO at Renaissance Investment Management and multifamily office Quinta Capital Partners. Andrei also worked at Troika Dialog and PWC. Several times the funds under his management were rated among the best performing funds in Russia and EMEA according to Bloomberg and RBC reviews. Andrei graduated from the Physics department of Moscow State University and he is a holder of CFA and ACCA qualifications.

Sixtine Crutchfield

During her professional career, Sixtine has been given the opportunity to expand her formal training in communications (with a double major in the arts) into efficient marketing and branding solutions. She has often taken on the responsibility for several major international projects mostly commercial and sometimes humanitarian or at least with a strong social aspect.

Sixtine has worked for the Jan Krugier Gallery for almost ten years where she gained hands-on experience at all levels of the art market and the knowledge of running an international gallery. Then, after spending 11 years in Australia and implementing a multitude of artistic and cultural project, she returned to Switzerland where she went back to school to train as a banker. Finally, she returned to the art world as the General Manager of Art Culture Studio organising international major art fairs and events.

Applying her skills, experience and industry know-how to the creation of a unique MBA programme specialised in art management for Geneva Business School is an interesting challenge which she has taken on with incredible energy. The course will be launched in February 2022 with 7 of the world’s top experts to teach the rudiments of this so-called opaque industry. The course is aimed at bankers, family office management, insurance, law firms, collectors and budding curators as well as graduates from art school.

During her seven years at Banque Edouard Constant, where she was responsible for wealth management in various geographical regions, she volunteered on multiple Bank projects including art shows, client events such as ski races and match racing in Sweden. Sixtine also joined the teams preparing and implementing the entry into the new millennium as well as the introduction of the EURO.
